Abstract: This file contains a clear letter from M.A. Jinnah, dated 24 February 1943, written from New Delhi to Malik Tajuddin Pir. Jinnah thanks him for an enclosed press cutting and a letter from Sheikh Atauliah, Rais of Gujarat, but declines an invitation to Rawalpindi due to necessary commitments in Delhi for Muslim League Working Committee and Council meetings. He mentions that Malik Sarkat Ali attended the meetings and would provide details. The file also includes two other pages (Page2 and Page3) with heavily garbled, largely indecipherable text. Page2 mentions the "HIGH COURT BAR ASSOCIATION LAHORE," and Page3 contains fragmented phrases, but no coherent narrative can be ascertained from them.

Description: This is a primary source file where the principal item is a routine but informative letter from M.A. Jinnah, demonstrating his demanding schedule and central role in Muslim League affairs in early 1943. The letter highlights the network of communication with regional leaders and the importance of the League's central committees. The accompanying pages are significantly degraded or poorly scanned, rendering their content mostly unusable for research, though one references the Lahore High Court Bar Association. The file is primarily valuable for the intact Jinnah letter, which is a typical example of his administrative and political correspondence during the war years.
