Abstract: This collection comprises diverse letters addressed to M.A. Jinnah (referred to as Qaid-i-Azam). The documents span personal, political, and administrative concerns: a condolence and meeting request following a death; correspondence about publishing Jinnah's speeches and running a propaganda "Home Study Circle"; a recommendation regarding political succession in Sindh after a leader's death; a translated circular from Faquir Ipi advocating for tribal unity among Pashtuns; and a request for assistance in repatriating a doctor from Turkey. The collection showcases the wide range of issues brought before Jinnah as the leader of the Muslim League.

Description: This set of documents offers a multifaceted view of M.A. Jinnah's role as the central figure in the Muslim political movement of the 1940s. The letters, from various individuals including party workers, intellectuals, and family members of associates, illustrate how he was approached for personal favors, political guidance, and to resolve administrative and propagandist matters. The inclusion of Faquir Ipi's circular highlights the connection between the mainstream Muslim League politics and frontier tribal dynamics. Overall, the collection underscores Jinnah's immense personal authority, the diversity of issues under his purview, and the complex network of relationships that sustained the political movement for Pakistan.
