It features repeated requests for messages, photos, and articles for various publications (annuals, books, new newspapers, student journals). Also present are political situation reports (e.g., from the NWFP), international queries (on Philippine independence, plebiscite precedents), administrative follow-ups (on a Lahore English daily, legal trusts, tax matters), and unsolicited analysis or books sent for his review.
