Abstract: This document is a formal resolution passed unanimously at a political conference, likely organized by the Muslim League or a related body. It emphatically protests the imposition of the Government of India Act 1935 against the will of the Indian people, despite repeated disapproval from various parties. The resolution acknowledges the provincial part of the constitution may be used cautiously despite its flaws, but strongly condemns the All-India Federal scheme as "fundamentally bad," reactionary, and injurious to British India's interests vis-à-vis the Indian States. It warns that the federal structure will delay India's goal of complete self-government and urges the British Parliament to review the central scheme before its implementation to avoid disaster. The resolution was proposed by B. Packer and seconded by T. M. Abdulla.

Description: A unanimous conference resolution condemning the imposed federal constitution of 1935 as unworkable and harmful, urging revision and reflecting broad political dissent during the late colonial period. SCANNED BY: NATIONAL ARCHIVES OF PAKISTAN.
