Abstract: This collection comprises certificates of undertaking, money order receipts, and detailed repair estimates from flood-affected schools and madrasahs in East Pakistan seeking rehabilitation grants from the Regional Flood Relief Committee. Documents include applications from institutions in Mymensingh, Bakerganj, and Muzaffargarh districts, with itemized lists of proposed expenditures for repairing damaged buildings, replacing furniture, and reconstructing classrooms. Also included are government correspondence regarding Madrasah recognition and committee approvals, along with several misfiled pages containing mathematical equations in German.

Description: Schools submit formal certificates of undertaking with detailed repair estimates including classroom reconstruction, wooden doors and windows, partitions, roof frames, cement plastering, and furniture replacement such as benches, tables, chairs, and blackboards. Each application is countersigned by local district officials and accompanied by money order receipts documenting fund disbursement. Additional documents include government correspondence extending Madrasah recognition and approving managing committee compositions. The collection also contains several pages of mathematical and physics equations in German, which appear unrelated to flood relief operations and may have been misfiled with the committee records.
