Abstract: This collection comprises correspondence and financial records related to H.H. Nomani, Addl. Claims Commissioner and Member of the Regional Flood Relief Committee, documenting grant disbursements to the Tikatuly Maktab Mosque in Dacca and cloth distribution in Mymensingh district. The materials include receipts for Rs. 5,000 granted for mosque reconstruction, correspondence regarding accounting discrepancies, and detailed vouchers and muster rolls for cloth purchases valued at nearly Rs. 10,000 distributed to flood victims in Mymensingh subdivisions.

Description: H.H. Nomani, serving both as Addl. Claims Commissioner and Committee Member, forwards receipts and certificates to Secretary M. Raschid for a Rs. 5,000 grant to the Tikatuly Maktab Mosque in Dacca. Additional correspondence addresses a minor accounting discrepancy of Rs. 13 in the Narishikhya Mandir Centre expenditure. A detailed government memo from the District Magistrate, Mymensingh, transmits vouchers and muster rolls for cloth purchases totaling Rs. 9,996/14/-, distributed across subdivisions, with a noted discrepancy in Tangail records being investigated. The materials illustrate the rigorous financial documentation required for relief fund disbursement and the coordination between committee members, district administration, and local institutions in post-flood East Pakistan.
