Abstract: This collection comprises a muster roll for relief article distribution, a brief Italian-language goods receipt note, and official government correspondence documenting the submission of accounts for flood relief funds distributed in Sadar North Subdivision of Tippera district. The muster roll records the distribution of relief items to recipients with space for signatures, while the correspondence from H.H. Nomani to Committee Secretary M. Raschid transmits muster rolls and vouchers for Rs. 200 disbursed in the subdivision.
Description: A bilingual muster roll form (English and Hindi) documents the distribution of relief articles, with columns for serial number, recipient name with village, number of persons, article name, quantity given, and recipient signature with date. Partially filled entries show Hindi names of recipients. A separate Italian-language fragment appears to record quantities of goods ("144 cm lehmon" in "19 bags") possibly related to relief supplies. Government correspondence from H.H. Nomani transmits the remaining account of Rs. 200 given to Sadar North Subdivision of Tippera district, including muster rolls and the original memo from the District Magistrate forwarding the Subdivisional Officer's report. The materials illustrate the multi-level documentation required for relief fund accountability at the subdivision level. SCANNED BY: NATIONAL ARCHIVES OF PAKISTAN.
