Abstract: This collection comprises certificates of undertaking, detailed proforma statements, cover letters, and money order receipts from multiple flood-affected schools across several districts seeking rehabilitation grants from the Regional Flood Relief Committee. Documents include applications from K.C.R.O.H.E. School in Chandrahar, Barisal (Rs. 200); Anwarul Ulum Aliah Madrasah in Kishorganj, Mymensingh (Rs. 1,600 for a 90 ft × 18 ft building reconstruction); Palashbari S.M.H.E. School in Rangpur (Rs. 300); Mahadevpur S.M. Institution in Rajshahi (Rs. 272-11-0); and other institutions, with itemized allocations for building repairs, furniture replacement, whitewashing, and hostel reconstruction.

Description: K.C.R.O.H.E. School in Chandrahar, Barisal submits a certificate for Rs. 200 with a proforma statement splitting the amount equally between furniture repairs (damaged by white-ants as a result of flood) and building repairs, countersigned by S.S.O.(N) Balag. Anwarul Ulum Aliah Madrasah in Kishorganj, Mymensingh submits a detailed cover letter dated 23 February 1956 with certificate for Rs. 1,600 exclusively for reconstruction of the madrasah building measuring 90 ft × 18 ft, countersigned by the S.D.I. of Schools, Kishorganj (as vice-president) since the S.D.O. was not president. Palashbari S.M.H.E. School in Rangpur submits a cover letter dated 6 March 1956 with certificate for Rs. 300, requesting early remittance. Mahadevpur S.M. Institution in Rajshahi provides a proforma statement for Rs. 272-11-0 covering repair and whitewashing of school building rooms and repairs/reconstruction of the attached Muslim hostel.
