Abstract: Collection of administrative correspondence, donation records, and financial assistance documents from the Central Flood Relief Committee, Karachi (September-December 1954), chaired by Fatima Jinnah. Includes international donations from Bahrain, UK, Malaya, and Kuwait; domestic contributions from Baluchistan States Union, State Bank staff, and educational institutions; and records of financial aid provided to a flood-affected medical student for tuition and hostel expenses.

Description: Central Flood Relief Committee, Karachi, chaired by Madar-e-Millat Fatima Jinnah. Includes: donation of Rs.9,360 from Pakistan Club, Bahrain (returned due to protocol); shipment of 73 cases of medical supplies from Canadian Red Cross via London; contributions from Sind Governor's staff, Baluchistan States Union (multiple cheques totaling over Rs.25,000), State Bank staff, Bank of China, Kuwait Oil Company Pakistani employees, and Govt. High School Dokri; shipment of 500 blankets from Pakistani Association Perak, Malaya; BOAC transport of multi-vitamin tablets; and detailed records of financial assistance to medical student Kazi Abu Jawhar from flood-affected family in Comilla, including tuition fee payments, hostel rent, and stipend arrangements. Documents illustrate the international reach of fundraising, coordination with government ministries, and direct individual assistance programs of the Central Flood Relief Committee in late 1954.
