Abstract: This file contains a National Bank of Pakistan office file cover (blank) and multiple bank transaction advices (1953–1957) related to the Regional Flood Relief Committee, including a Rs. 353,054 payment for clothing purchased from the Government of East Pakistan, a Rs. 1,00,000 transfer, a Rs. 11 cheque payment, and Rs. 2 for revenue stamps. A detailed letter from the Pakistani employees of Kuwait Oil Company (September 1954) addressed to Miss Fatima Jinnah reports raising funds for East Pakistan flood victims, with Rs. 20,000 already forwarded as first installment, and encloses a Bill of Lading for 500 blankets and 2,400 yards of cloth shipped per S.S. "Dwarka" as second installment. Clearance documents from Orient Agencies and National Bank of Pakistan, Chittagong (February 1955), relate to two cases of used clothes, with clearing agent’s bill of Rs. 15-11-0.
