Abstract: This file contains 9 pages of financial records from the National Bank of Pakistan related to the Regional Flood Relief Committee. Pages include A/C Day Book debit entries (August–October 1955) showing remittances totaling Rs. 10,000, Rs. 3,000, Rs. 6,000, Rs. 4,000, and Rs. 13,100, along with commission and contribution entries. Another page (November 1954) details railway freight, coolie, truck, carriage, and conveyance charges ranging from Rs. 1 to Rs. 286. A balance sheet page (c. 1955) shows a balance of Rs. 13,13,170. Subsequent pages (January–November 1955) record credit entries for transport and miscellaneous expenses.

Description: This file contains bank ledger pages tracking flood relief expenditures, including railway freight, coolie charges, and gunny bag purchases. Debit and credit entries document transport costs and vendor payments. A money order form and acknowledgment for individual relief (Rs. 50) are also included. The records illustrate the committee’s detailed financial accounting for relief operations. One money order acknowledgment shows a 1968 date, suggesting later reuse of forms.
