Abstract: This file documents related to flood relief coordination. A letter (September 1958) from M. Raschid calls an emergent 18th meeting of the Regional Flood Relief Committee at the residence of Mr. G.M. Adamjee to address the worsening flood situation in Faridpur, Mymensingh, Pabna, Rajshahi, and Dacca. The agenda for the 19th meeting (September 14, 1958) lists confirmation of minutes, co-option of Mr. A.F. Rahman (Relief Commissioner) as member, relief to affected areas, and immediate relief for individuals in Dacca City. A separate letter (1954) from Dr. Umar Lutfur Rahman, President of the Pabna Samiti, appeals to Miss Fatima Jinnah for assistance to the distressed people of Pabna.
