Abstract: In 1962, Anjuman Faiz‑ul‑Islam Rawalpindi invited Fatima Jinnah to its annual gathering, originally planned for late October. After she confirmed availability from 24 October in Peshawar, the Anjuman rescheduled its events to 23–25 October to accommodate her, arranging a railway station reception, inspection of the orphanage and school, public meeting, and women’s coffee party.

Description: A series of letters between Mian Hayat Bakshi (President, Anjuman Faiz‑ul‑Islam, Rawalpindi) and Fatima Jinnah (Flagstaff House, Karachi) from August to October 1962. After her positive response, the Anjuman changed its original dates (26–28 October) to 23–25 October to match her stay. The attached programme details her arrival by Tez Gam train, inspection of the orphanage and Faizul Islam High School, opening ceremony, “At Home” reception, and a coffee party by the Women’s Reception Committee.
