Abstract: This file of itemised bills and labour payment statements from Haydari Construction Company Limited for the construction of the Khatoon-e-Pakistan Girls High School in Karachi during 1957. Documents include: Bill No. 1 (upto 15 January 1957) for materials totalling Rs. 20,100/3/6 (G.I. sheets, cement, Pudlo powder, copper plates, binding wires, etc.) and labour payment of Rs. 10,521/2/- (excavation in rock and soft soil). Bill No. 2 (16 January – 12 February 1957) for materials totalling Rs. 20,851/12/- (cement, water meter, sanitary materials, water pump, etc.) and labour payment of Rs. 3,255/11/- (tank excavation, plaster, concrete, block making).
