Abstract: This file contains a mix of office records, supplier invoices, and school requisitions related to the Khatoon-e-Pakistan Girls Higher Secondary School (Stadium Road, Karachi) under the patronage of Miss Fatima Jinnah. The first page is an office file cover (Khatoon-i-Pakistan / Gulf International College?). Two bills from The Scientific Stores and Aladdin Scientific Stores (August 1962) list laboratory items such as foot scales, clamps, hydrometers, voltameters, spring balances, physical balances, and Nicholson hydrometers. A letter from Azam Trading Corporation (17 April 1963) demands immediate payment of Rs. 39,414.90 for equipment supplied between October 1962 and March 1963, warning of financial strain. A detailed statement of accounts (Page12) lists 30 bills from October 1962 to March 1963, totalling Rs. 39,414.90.

Description: This file contains financial and administrative records from 1962–1964 related to the Khatoon-e-Pakistan Girls Higher Secondary School in Karachi. It includes supplier bills for scientific apparatus, a demand letter for a large outstanding payment (Rs. 39,414.90) with a detailed statement of 30 bills, and requisitions for biology equipment and civics books submitted to Miss Fatima Jinnah for sanction. The documents illustrate the procurement of laboratory and library resources for the school’s higher secondary classes and the financial pressures faced by the institution. The file also includes an office file cover and two scientific store invoices from 1962. Together, they provide insight into the educational infrastructure and financial management of a girls’ school patronised by Miss Fatima Jinnah in the early 1960s.
