Abstract: This file contains financial and administrative records of educational institutions under the patronage of Miss Fatima Jinnah and the Muslim Women’s Industrial Home. A cover page shows accounts of Khatoon-e-Pakistan Primary School for the year ending 30 June 1960, audited by Ahmed B. Khan & Co. , Chartered Accountants. A receipts and payments account for the year ended 30 June 1961 for “Kadoka-Pleasant Primary School” (likely a variant name) lists total receipts of Rs. 92,970.22 (opening balance, admission fees, tuition fees, gates, buses, fines, registration, interest) and payments including salaries (Rs. 15,519.60), bus expenses (Rs. 10,499.25), loan to secondary school (Rs. 8,000), furniture, water supply, library books, and closing cash and bank balances (Rs. 65,940.72). Another page shows “Khazir-e-Pastan Girls Secondary School” accounts for 1961, with a loan of Rs. 8,000 from the primary school. A grant-in-aid bill form (Form F.R. 42) references a government letter. A circular (12 September 1963) from the District Inspectress of Girls Schools, Karachi, instructs all non-government recognised girls primary schools to submit audited accounts for 1962–63 by 30 September 1963, with detailed guidelines (ink, supporting statements, signatures, rent certificates, etc.). Letters from the Muslim Women’s Industrial Home (1963) request audit of Taleem Gah-e-Niswan Girls Primary School’s accounts for the year ended 30 June 1963, and a certificate confirms cash in hand of Rs. 1,636.27 as of that date.
