Abstract: This file contains correspondence related to the Dawn Trust, a wakf created by Quaid-i-Azam M.A. Jinnah. A letter from Miss Fatima Jinnah to Liaquat Ali Khan (10 April 1951, with duplicate copies) reminds him of the delay in restoring Dawn newspaper to the Trust, noting that over a year had passed since their appointment as Trustees by the Chief Court. She states that Liaquat had mentioned considering resignation because he was not prepared to take action against those holding the paper. A letter from Harold K. Milks (Associated Press of America, 26 April 1951) to Miss Jinnah and separately to Liaquat Ali Khan seeks payment of Rs. 2,020/10/0 for news service supplied to Dawn of Delhi in July–August 1947. A letter from A. Salam (Western Pakistan Chamber of Commerce & Industry) congratulates Miss Jinnah on the relinquishment of trusteeship by Liaquat Ali Khan.
