Abstract: A collection of vehicle maintenance records from the 1950s to 1965 shows Miss Fatima Jinnah owning a Packard (registration KAN 1327), a Cadillac, and other cars. Documents include a Castrol lubrication service sheet for her Packard, an invoice for airfreight charges on a Cadillac water pump assembly (Rs. 220.75), a bill for replacing a self‑starter spring (Rs. 26), and a cash receipt for Rs. 64.40 from Masjid‑i‑Khizra Service Station.
Description: The earliest document (undated) is a Castrol lubrication service card listing Miss Fatima Jinnah’s 1948 Packard saloon (registration KAN 1327) with engine oil change, chassis lubrication, and battery testing. In 1963, Karachi Autos Spare Parts billed her Rs. 220.75 for airfreight charges on a Cadillac water pump assembly specially imported by air. A December 1963 letter requests payment for that bill. Ali Automobiles Ltd. charged Rs. 26 in early 1964 to replace a self‑starter spring and lock on one of her vehicles. Finally, a September 1965 cash receipt from Masjid‑i‑Khizra Service Station acknowledges payment of Rs. 64.40 (cheque CAH 647056) for a previous bill. SCANNED BY: NATIONAL ARCHIVES OF PAKISTAN.
