Abstract: A set of twelve miscellaneous documents from the mid‑20th century (c. 1950s‑1960s) found together. They include a plumber’s cash memo (Rs. 35.50), a verification of 22 pieces of Burma teak shipped by SS “Faching”, a hardware store receipt, interior painting rates, silk saree invoices, two butter/ghee store receipts (Rs. 32.50, Rs. 33/11), a photographer’s note from Simla/New Delhi, a silk merchant’s bill from Bombay, a list of bread purchases (Rs. 31/10), and a cryptic letter about voter declarations from Dacca. None of the documents explicitly name Miss Fatima Jinnah, but they appear to come from the same archival collection of personal papers.

Description: This collection includes a variety of everyday business transactions from the 1950s‑1960s, primarily from Karachi but also Bombay, Delhi, Simla, and Dacca. Notable items: an invoice for 22 pieces of Indian 2nd class Burma teak shipped per SS “Faching” A cash memo from Mohd. Aslam Paint & Hardware (30 December 196?); a price list from Hasanson interior decorators (oil bound distemper, enamel paint, polish); a Banaras Silk House invoice for four sarees (totalling Rs. 731? unclear); multiple receipts from Bismillah Pure Butter & Ghee Stores; a handwritten note from L. Dass & Co., photographers of Simla and New Delhi; a silk merchant’s bill from Moosa Shariff Sons, Bombay (May 1956); a list of bread, buns, and “curcafod” (Rs. 31/10); and a confusing letter to a Mr. H. Nomani in Dacca about voter declarations and “complete Cola” leakage. These documents likely represent household or small‑business records from mid‑20th century South Asia, possibly from the files of the Fatima Jinnah estate or a related collection, though they do not directly reference her.
