Abstract: A collection of documents (1948‑1965) concerning Miss Fatima Jinnah’s properties in Karachi. Includes a 1948 request to rent a room in the Mohatta Building, a 1951 offer of Rs. 3 lakh for her Clifton Road property, her 1961 demand that the government vacate Mohatta Palace for her personal use, a 1962 complaint about neon signs near her bungalow, and 1964‑1965 correspondence with architects over an outstanding Rs. 1,000 fee for valuation and repair estimates.

Description: In May 1961, Miss Jinnah twice writes to the Estate Officer, Government of Pakistan, demanding that Mohatta Palace (occupied by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs) be vacated within six months for her personal use. Her secretary (May 1962) complains to the KMC chairman about neon signs of Burmah Shell and Hotel Metropole causing nuisance. Thaversons (May 1964) inquire about her plans for Mohatta Palace. Finally, letters from Naqvi and Siddiquie (September 1964 and September 1965) seek payment of an outstanding professional fee of Rs. 1,000; Miss Jinnah’s earlier reply questions the “part payment” and clarifies the work done (valuation, estimate preparation, periodic visits).
