Description: Miss Fatima Jinnah acknowledging receipt of a cheque for Rs. 19,525 addressed to Samiullah & Co., which he is forwarding to the payee. On 31 January 1951, H.H. Mohd. Hassan, a property agent from Serai Road, Karachi, writes to Miss Jinnah offering his services to sell her Karachi property, mentioning his firm’s sixty years of experience in Delhi. A series of letters from March to April 1955 between Miss Jinnah’s secretary (A. Rashid) and contractor A.H. Shaikh (Jadid Tamirat Ltd.) disputes an outstanding payment of Rs. 192. The contractor claims the amount is due for small works (e.g., repairing a grass cutting machine, fixing buttons) done alongside a compound wall project, and that no work remains.
