Abstract: Corporate documents from Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) announcing a “Transportation Voucher” scheme for shareholders. A 22 April 1961 letter outlines the terms (non‑transferable, valid for one year, for PIA travel only, with family nomination). A follow‑up circular from January 1963 announces a new, transferable voucher worth 10% of the face value of shares held on 24 December 1962. Application forms are included.

Description: The first set (April 1961) informs shareholders of a resolution passed at the Annual General Meeting on 10 April 1961 to issue “Transportation Vouchers” to promote business. Detailed terms and conditions specify that vouchers are non‑encashable, non‑transferable (except to immediate family with prior nomination), valid for one year, and can be exchanged only for PIA passenger tickets (taxes payable in cash). A second circular (January 1963) states that shareholders whose names were on the register on 24 December 1962 and who still hold their shares are entitled to a transferable voucher worth 10% of the face value of their shares.
