Description: The earliest letter (1943) from F.J. Beam asks permission to open a general store named “FATIMA JINNAH STORES” for ladies in Jacob Lines. In 1947, the Pakistan Club, Rangoon, requests a message for Burmese women. An insurance agent seeks a brief interview (December 1947). A man from Lahore (11 December 1948) claims to have seen Quaid‑i‑Azam in a dream with a message for the Governor‑General. Miss Jinnah writes to Mr. Gordon Walker (14 March 1949) apologising for missing a meeting. She declines a wedding invitation from Mr. Javeed (Allama Iqbal’s son), recalling fond memories of visiting Iqbal with her brother. The British Council’s representative arranges a meeting with Dame Katherine Watt (October 1948); Miss Jinnah agrees to see her on 30 October at 6 p.m. The editor of “Saghar” magazine requests a message. A pharmaceutical company managing director seeks an interview for help in establishing industry. Finally, Syed Irtiza Hussain submits a manuscript on womanhood based on Islamic ideology, seeking her opinion. SCANNED BY: NATIONAL ARCHIVES OF PAKISTAN.
