Description: Miss Jinnah accepted an invitation from the Sind Baluchistan Kennel Club to give away prizes at a dog show. In 1957, she was asked by the Pakistan Industries Fair organiser for a message and autographed portrait for a handbook; the F.I.A.P. chairman thanked her for agreeing to meet title recipients; and the managing agent of Valika Textile Mills requested her blessings. A brief note from the Pakistan Malaysia Society proposed to nominate her as president. In 1958, Dr. Riaz ul Haque Imami (a former student who had photographed her in 1951) requested an autographed photograph for the Miss Fatima Jinnah T.B. Sanatorium in Quetta; her secretary sent the photograph. She declined an invitation from D. Stanley Watson, stating she does not usually attend functions. Her secretary also summoned Ghulam Ahmed for a meeting. Finally, M.A. Razack wrote offering his industrial expertise and requesting an interview. SCANNED BY: NATIONAL ARCHIVES OF PAKISTAN.
