Abstract: Addressed to Miss Fatima Jinnah or her office. Requests include giving prizes at a World Health Day baby show (1954), a message and photograph for Sind University magazine (1960, declined), permission to name a football tournament after her (1960, declined), a message for a childhood education seminar (1956), participation or message for East Pakistan Mohajereen convention (1957), and a message for a social circle meeting (1957). Her secretary declines most requests, citing her policy of not giving messages.

Description: Miss Jinnah to give prizes at a Baby Show on World Health Day. In 1956, the Pakistan Child Education Council requested a message for a seminar. In January 1957, the East Pakistan Mohajereen Convention asked for her participation or a message, and the Social Circle, Karachi, sought a message for its annual meeting. In 1960, the Sind University magazine requested a message and autographed photograph – her secretary replied that she does not give messages. The Shining Football Club, Peshawar, wanted to name a tournament after Quaid‑i‑Azam and sought her blessing. Another request to hold a “Miss Fatima Jinnah Shield” football tournament was declined, as was a request for chief patronship of a Rovers Cup tournament. Her office also followed up on collecting autograph books from a women’s college. These documents illustrate Miss Jinnah’s selective public engagement and her consistent refusal of most requests for messages and patronage in her later years.
