Description: The President of the Pakistan Friends League in Nottingham, England, asks Miss Jinnah to send a message for Pakistan Republic Day celebrations on 28 March 1965. A student, Mujtaba Ahmed Khan (Joharabad), writes on 11 May 1965 requesting an autographed photograph, noting his earlier letter went unanswered. Waris Khan, a village nambardar from Harroon, Campbellpur district, seeks an interview (16 February 1966). Finally, the Deputy Director (Administration) of the Department of Tourism, Karachi, writes (date unclear, but references April 1, 1966) to request an interview for a National Geographic Magazine team producing an illustrated article on “The Emerging Image of Pakistan.” These documents show continued public and international interest in Miss Jinnah in her later years.
