Abstract: A refugee father’s appeal for financial help to educate his six daughters and two sons and provide winter clothing in Murree; a destitute ex‑government officer’s plea for business capital to support a family of twelve; a scholarship application form from a student named Azmatullah Khan to the Dawood Foundation; and three documents related to Waizabad Mustafavia Senior Madrasah in East Pakistan – a 1963 appeal for a lump sum grant for furniture and library repairs, plus inspection notes (1944, 1961, 1962) praising the founder’s dedication and recommending government aid after cyclone damage.
Description: Ghulam Rasul Khawaja, an Upper Division Clerk in Murree, describes his large family (six daughters, two sons) and his inability to afford their school fees and warm clothing on Rs. 200/month. He appeals to Miss Jinnah for financial help. The second document is a lengthy appeal from an ex‑government officer, aged 54, suffering from blood pressure and poor vision, with a family of twelve on the verge of starvation. He requests a one‑time generous donation to start a business, emphasising he is a Syed entitled to Khums and Zakat but not Sadqa, and does not wish to beg. The third includes a scholarship recommendation from Karaikudi, India (dated 5‑7 October 1961) for a student named Agnanathulla, and a Dawood Foundation scholarship application form (page 47) from Azmatullah Khan, an F.Sc. student at D.J. Government Science College, Karachi, with annual family income of Rs. 3,000. SCANNED BY: NATIONAL ARCHIVES OF PAKISTAN.
