Abstract: A collection of telegrams sent to Miss Fatima Jinnah between 1948 and 1958. Topics include: a complaint about persons stopping water for garden cultivation in Jaranwala; a demand for the removal of Minister Kazi Fazlullah over water distribution abuses in Shahadkot; a report of 13 deaths by starvation in Abbaspur Haveli, Poonch (Azad Kashmir); a political telegram from Voters Front, Shahdadpur, demanding action on Kashmir, Abdullah’s release, and suspension of Indian dam projects; a plea from Lalookhet shopkeepers to reduce road width to avoid eviction; a request from 50 terminated government officials in Lahore for personal intervention to save their families; and a query from the Regional Flood Relief Committee, East Pakistan, asking Miss Jinnah to indicate a donation amount for cyclone‑devastated districts (Noakhali, Tippera, Bakarganj), with over Rs. 2 lakhs available.

Description: A telegram from Shahadkot (undated, likely 1950s) accuses Minister Kazi Fazlullah of ruining farmers by controlling water supply for political favouritism, demanding his removal. A telegram from Rawalakot (undated) reports 13 deaths from starvation and requests help from the Azad Kashmir government. A long telegram from the Voters Front, Shahdadpur (undated, referencing Anglo‑American sponsored projects) demands the Prime Minister take a strong stand on Kashmir, including Abdullah’s release and suspension of Indian dams. A telegram from shopkeepers of Main Road, Lalookhet, Karachi (undated, but after 1950) states they have been ordered to shift on 5th November to a desolate place, destroying thousands of rupees invested; they request road width reduction from 220 to 200 feet to allow them to stay. A telegram from Lahore (dated 1958) reports that 50 officials of the Elections Office have been terminated from 1 December 1958, and they request her intervention to absorb them and save 50 families.
