Abstract: A set of telegrams from 1964‑1965 addressed to Miss Fatima Jinnah. Includes a New Year greeting from Windsor, Canada; a copy of a telegram from the District Muhajeer Association, Mymensingh (East Pakistan) reporting thousands of Muslim refugees reaching the district daily, forwarded to Miss Jinnah for sympathetic consideration; Independence Anniversary congratulations from Major Ibrahim (Quetta); a telegram from Dr. S.M. Latif (Mardan) offering services and cooperation; an invitation from Masaud Ahmad (Montgomery) for her to visit the district; congratulations on her presidential nomination from various sources (Arif Ahmed, Rajshahi; Hamidullah Khan, Peshawar with Rs. 1,000 donation; Sylhet District Awami League; United Democratic Front, Sargodha); a telegram from S.M. Khan (Peshawar) stating he will not contest the presidential election; and congratulations from Saad Ahmed, Advocate, Kushtia.

Description: The earliest dated document (9 April 1964) is a copy of a telegram from the Vice‑President of the District Muhajeer Association, Mymensingh, to the Home Minister (Pakistan), Pakistan High Commissioner (Delhi), and Prime Minister of India, stating that thousands of Muslim refugees are reaching Mymensingh daily and soliciting redress. This was forwarded to Miss Fatima Jinnah for her sympathetic view. A New Year greeting from Itrat Zuberi (Windsor, Ontario) wishes her a very happy New Year (undated, likely December 1964). Several telegrams from various individuals and organisations (Major Ibrahim, Quetta; Dr. S.M. Latif, Mardan; Masaud Ahmad, Montgomery; Arif Ahmed, Rajshahi; Hamidullah Khan, Peshawar; Dewan Faridgazi, Sylhet; United Democratic Front, Sargodha; Saad Ahmed, Kushtia) congratulate her on her presidential nomination, offer support, announce donations, invite her to address meetings, and express confidence that the country will regain Quaid‑i‑Azam’s leadership. One telegram from S.M. Khan (Peshawar) states that her welcome to his observation “abolishes me from contesting presidential election” and advocates for a non‑party person of integrity. These telegrams capture the excitement, support, and political dynamics surrounding Miss Fatima Jinnah’s 1965 presidential campaign. SCANNED BY: NATIONAL ARCHIVES OF PAKISTAN.
