Includes an office memorandum (17 August 1950) requiring government servants to declare immovable property as of 15 August 1947 and 1 January 1950, with a covering letter (1951) asking Miss Jinnah’s office to comply. Office orders (5 October 1954) terminate a peon (Muhammad Ashraf) and appoint Ali Akber as officiating peon, posted to Flagstaff House; a medical examination instruction follows. Another office order (12 August 1955) terminates a temporary stenographer attached to Miss Jinnah.

Description: An office memorandum from the Cabinet Secretariat (17 August 1950) under Rule 11 of the Government Servants Conduct Rules instructs all government servants to declare immovable property held on 15 August 1947 and 1 January 1950, with copies forwarded to Miss Fatima Jinnah’s office for compliance. A 10 March 1951 letter from her P.A. (Gulam Ahmad) acknowledges receipt and submits four filled declaration forms. Office orders dated 5 October 1954 terminate the services of a temporary peon, Muhammad Ashraf, and appoint Ali Akber as officiating peon, posted to Flagstaff House; a separate letter instructs Ali Akber to appear for medical examination at Jinnah Central Hospital. A final office order (12 August 1955) terminates Mr. Abdur Rashid Khan, a temporary stenographer attached to Miss Jinnah. These documents illustrate the routine administrative and personnel matters handled by the Cabinet Secretariat in relation to Miss Jinnah’s household staff.
