Description: Letter from Manakasha, Rajshahi, offers a copy of ‘Lady’s cause to fight’ addressed to Miss Jinnah. On 21 November 1949, the Ministry of Interior forwards the brochure “Women of Pakistan” produced for the Women’s International Exposition in New York. A 17 February 1951 statement from Flagstaff House condemns the pre‑censorship of Nawai‑Waqt as repugnant and stifling democracy. Agha Shaukat Ali (undated) requests a foreword for his book on Kashmir, covering a century of Dogra rule. Franklin Publications (8 September 1956) reminds Miss Jinnah of her acceptance to contribute to Professor Bokhari’s book “Zindagi”. A. Rashid (15 February 1957) sends his booklet ‘The Ray’ on Happiness. N.B. Sen requests an article on Jawaharlal Nehru for “Thoughts of Nehru”. Finally, Combined Publications (3 March 1958) requests an autographed photo, a message, a presentation date, and an interview for “Pakistan’s First Cyclopedia of Science, Industry & Professions”, enclosing a promotional leaflet. These documents highlight Miss Jinnah’s engagement with literary and journalistic projects, her public statements on civil liberties, and her role as a national icon.
