Abstract: A large archive of documents from Miss Fatima Jinnah’s personal files, spanning the 1930s to the 1960s. Includes official correspondence with Azad Kashmir government on hospital donations, flood relief committees, Quaid‑i‑Azam Relief Fund records, refugee appeals, property disputes, bank statements and insurance policies, medical reports, diplomatic passport, household bills and staff payroll, job applications, publication requests, telegrams, and political statements – including materials related to her 1965 presidential campaign.

Description: This collection brings together hundreds of pages of correspondence, financial ledgers, official government memoranda, telegrams, medical certificates, vaccination records, vehicle registration documents, insurance policies, royalty statements, and personal letters addressed to or originating from Miss Fatima Jinnah. The documents cover her philanthropic work (donations for hospitals, schools, ambulances in Azad Kashmir), her chairmanship of flood relief committees for East and West Pakistan, her membership on the Quaid‑i‑Azam Relief Fund Central Committee, her management of household staff and properties, her banking and investment activities, her health and travel records (including a diplomatic passport and European spa treatments), and her political engagements (including appeals for the 1965 presidential election). The archive also contains numerous individual petitions from refugees, widows, students, and civil servants seeking financial aid, employment, or intervention in disputes. Together, these papers offer an unparalleled window into the public and private life of the “Mother of the Nation” of Pakistan. SCANNED BY: NATIONAL ARCHIVES OF PAKISTAN.
