Abstract: Letter accusing Ayub Khan of “meddling into politics”, requests for financial and voluntary assistance, a list of detailed “Terms and Conditions” (establishment of an Islamic state, enforcement of Shariat, abolition of interest, alcohol, gambling, etc.), an oath allegedly taken by her at Khulna to restore democracy and East‑West parity, a series of ten critical questions against Ayub Khan’s record on Kashmir, corruption, and dictatorship, and a request for appointment as Governor of East Pakistan if elected.
Description: A 13 November 1964 letter from Md. A. Fahri (Dacca) requests a cheque of Rs. 10,000 for campaign expenses. On 28 November, Anwar R. Narsinh offers honorary secretarial services on Sundays, while M. A. Tahir (Dacca) submits a 19‑point strategy, including appointing Lt. Gen. Azam Khan to oversee West Pakistan and requesting Rs. 25,000. A detailed “Terms and Conditions” document (unsigned, undated) lists 17 demands, including compulsory Islamic education, enforcement of namaz and zakat, prohibition of alcohol, gambling, interest, and birth control, and an audit of Basic Democrats’ development funds. Another document claims that on 21 December 1964 at Khulna, Miss Jinnah took an oath to restore democracy, East‑West parity, and nationalisation. SCANNED BY: NATIONAL ARCHIVES OF PAKISTAN.
