Abstract: A letter dated 14 June 1955 from Ch. Nasrullah Khan, Advocate and Convenor of the “Pakistan Istaqlal Party,” Lyallpur, to Miss Fatima Jinnah. He recalls inviting Quaid‑e‑Azam to conferences in 1941 (Lahore) and 1943 (Sialkot). He expresses grave concern over Pakistan’s deteriorating situation under the current leadership, citing losses of Hyderabad, Kathiawar, Kashmir, and the Canal Waters dispute. He asserts that the Redcliffe Award is the root cause of Pakistan’s problems and proposes claiming more territory from India. He requests a meeting at Abbottabad to discuss these issues and encloses the aims and objects of his newly formed “Istaqlal Party.”

Description: Letter is written from District Courts, Lyallpur. Nasrullah Khan reminds Miss Jinnah of his two invitations to Quaid‑i‑Azam in the Punjab (1941 and 1943). He strongly criticises the British‑trained elite leadership and warns that Pakistan is losing ground to India on multiple fronts. He argues that the Redcliffe Award must be rejected and more territory claimed to solve problems of Kashmir, Canal Waters, flight of Indian Muslims, and East Bengal instability. He encloses a party pamphlet and requests an appointment at Abbottabad for a detailed discussion. SCANNED BY: NATIONAL ARCHIVES OF PAKISTAN.
