Abstract: The Preparatory Committee of the All Pakistan Socialist Conference (1964) expressing support for Mohtarama Fatima Jinnah in the presidential elections. Includes a General Declaration calling for the socialisation of major industries, banks, agricultural land, and foreign trade; a resolution unanimously endorsing her candidacy and appealing to peasants, workers, youth, and progressives; and a press release directing socialists to work for her and for Basic Democracies candidates who pledge to vote for her.

Description: Letter from the Preparatory Committee’s Chairman, Samin Khan, enclosing a resolution and the General Declaration, and requesting an interview. The General Declaration proclaims the struggle for a “SOCIALIST PAKISTAN,” citing Quaid‑i‑Azam’s statements on socialisation, and lists seven demands including socialisation of industries, land, foreign trade, and withdrawal from SEATO and CENTO. The resolution and press release unanimously support Madar‑e‑Millat, appeal to progressive forces, and direct socialists to work for candidates who support her.
