Abstract: A letter from a Lahore resident to Miss Fatima Jinnah dated March 24, 1949, expressing concern that the Balak Ram Medical College in Lahore, originally built with a donation from a Hindu widow and named after her late husband, is now being renamed as Fatima Jinnah Medical College for Women. The writer argues that this would be an insult to Miss Jinnah's high personality and suggests it would be subject to ridicule in the Indian Press.
