Abstract: This file consists of a confidential official letter dated 13 October 1966 regarding payments related to the construction of Hotel Continental at the Polo Ground, Karachi. The Urdu covering note explains the circumstances of the payment request and the urgency of settling outstanding dues. The English letter requests the Accounts Branch to arrange payment, mentioning an amount exceeding Rs. 20,000 at a rate of 25% over the gross amount. It instructs that payment be sent through the National Bank of Pakistan, P.I.D.C. House Branch, Karachi, either by messenger or registered post.
