They had tried for a separate appeal for Pakistan alone, but they could not do so. She told that she was informed that Lord and Lady Mountbatten when they were in London for the Royal wedding, unofficially were against such separate appeal, they are doing to raise money for the refugees and Mr. J.Arthur Rank is going to help.
