Description: Letter of Taqui Mohammad Abdula Hussain (Oman) to the President of Pakistan (Mohammad Ayub Khan) with a copy to Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah giving his proposal to raise a social welfare fund for every Pakistani and non Pakistan has to pay every month to the Govt. of Pakistan for their benefit in Education and Health. He had divided the whole nation in sixteen categories i.e. A to M where A has to pay Rs.25 /- per month and M /12/- (anas) p.m. He writes in this way every month collection in this fund would be Rs.18 crores, which could be used on Health and Education. It should least for thirty years. He writes that in 1948 after the death of the Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah he had purchased his Car for Rs.7500/- and had spend Rs.2500/- on its repair. It is still standing in his garage which he will also donate in the said fund.
