Description: Letter of Y.A.C Achalia [South Africa] to Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah informing her that in the 20th Annual Conference of the South African Indian Congress which would be held on the 25th, 26th and 27th January 1952. The Congress would do a historical decision to stand by national liberty movement. It is in conjunction with the African and the coloured people on a common struggle against certain unjust and racially discriminatory laws of the Government of South Africa. In this connection he wrote that they need the friendship and support of the rest of the world in their just and legitimate fight for securing fundamental rights. He thanked her past-support and requested to send a message to the Conference.
