Description: Letter of Francis Mody to Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah in reply of her on the subject of Pakistan National Committee in connection with the United Nations Appeal for Children. He wrote that he had been very busy on a number of matters. For the Quaid-i-Azarn's Relief fund he wrote that he finds some difficulty in appealing for more subscription from the West Punjab, which has raised so much, i.e. about Rs. 80 lakhs, for the fund, unless he can put before people a definite scheme showing how the money is to be spent. Besides raising money for the Quaid-i-Azam Relief Fund, they have to raise money for Pakistan Red Cross Mission in Kashmir.
