Description: Letter of Begum Hafizuddin (Surat) to Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah giving her a detail of her visit to the various part of the Surat District. According to her the condition in Surat is not very favourable, thousands of volunteer are willing and wanting to join the National Guards and get training in First Aid, but local Muslim League could not provide them First Aid Box. Out of 40,000 Muslims only 125 are in the National Guard. She had arranged first aid classes for women in the Civil Hospital Surat twice a week. In different Mohallas volunteers are taking training in "Lakri Patta". 250 Women have joined the National Guards in Rander, six of them are going to Karachi for training. Begum Ahjaz Rasool had written that an All India Zanana Meeting would be held in Delhi on the 30th March.
