Abstract: This collection consists of two main themes. The first includes documents from 1945 related to the Bombay Provincial Muslim League, specifically a donation for the "National Fund" and a Rs. 2000 installment to the "League Election Fund" from the Memon Youth League, addressed to M. A. Jinnah. The second, larger set of documents (1955-1958) details a protracted administrative dispute between Miss Fatima Jinnah, as the executrix of the Quaid-i-Azam's estate, and the Lahore Cantonment Board regarding the payment of House Tax and Property Tax for Bungalow No. 53 on Diagonal Road.

Description: This collection juxtaposes the political life of M. A. Jinnah with the complex posthumous administration of his estate. The early letters show the grassroots financial support for the Muslim League during the pivotal pre-Independence period. The later correspondence provides a detailed case study of the practical challenges faced by Fatima Jinnah in managing her brother's legacy, revealing intricate bureaucratic hurdles over a simple property tax payment.
